Guy Garvey is a British singer-songwriter and musician, best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the rock band Elbow. Born in Bolton, England, Garvey formed Elbow in 1997 with his friends Craig Potter, Mark Potter, Pete Turner, and Richard Jupp. The band has released eight studio albums, including "The Seldom Seen Kid" and "Leadbelly", and have won numerous awards, including the Mercury Prize.
