Haben Girma

Haben Girma is a human rights lawyer, author, and disability activist. She is the first Deafblind graduate of Harvard Law School. Girma has worked as a lawyer and advocate for disability rights, and has written extensively on topics related to disability and accessibility. She is also a prominent speaker and has given talks on disability rights and intersectionality. Girma is the author of the book "Eyes on the Prize: My Life for Civil Rights and Human Rights", which won the 2017 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Nonfiction Book.
