Haidar al-Hanouni

Haidar al-Hanouni is an Iraqi politician and former minister who has been a vocal critic of corruption in Iraq. He served as the minister of finance from 2014 to 2016 and has been a member of the Iraqi parliament since 2018. Al-Hanouni has been a key figure in the Iraqi government's efforts to combat corruption and has been a strong advocate for transparency and accountability. He has also been a vocal critic of the US and UK governments' handling of the Iraq crisis. Born in Baghdad, Iraq, al-Hanouni has a degree in economics from the University of Baghdad.
