Thirteenth-century Kannada poet and writer
Hampeya Harihara was a thirteenth-century Kannada poet and writer. He is best known for his work on the stories of Shiva's saints, which were later translated into English by Gil Ben-Herut. Harihara's work is considered an important part of Kannada literature and has been widely studied and translated. Despite his significant contributions to the field, very little is known about Harihara's life and work beyond his literary achievements.
