Hannie Schaft was a Dutch resistance fighter and assassin who played a significant role in the Dutch resistance during World War II. Born in 1918, Schaft joined the resistance at the age of 20 and quickly became known for her bravery and skill. She was sought after by the Nazis, who knew her only as the 'red haired girl'. Schaft worked closely with other resistance fighters, including Truus and Freddie Oversteegan, and was involved in several high-profile missions. After the war, Schaft continued to be involved in politics and was a key figure in the Dutch resistance movement.
