Hans von Ohain

Hans von Ohain was a German inventor and entrepreneur. He is best known for developing the first practical turbojet engine. Von Ohain founded the company Heinkel Flugzeugwerke, which later became part of the Messerschmitt company. He was a pioneer in the field of rocketry and space exploration. Von Ohain was also a prolific writer and published several books on his inventions and ideas.
