Helle Thorning Schmidt

Helle Thorning Schmidt is a Danish politician and former Prime Minister of Denmark. She served as Prime Minister from 2011 to 2015 and was the leader of the Social Democratic Party. Thorning Schmidt has been a member of the Folketing since 2001 and has held various ministerial positions, including Minister of Finance and Minister of Foreign Affairs. She has also been a member of the European Parliament.
