Henri Cartier-Bresson was a French photographer and photojournalist. He is widely regarded as the father of street photography. Cartier-Bresson was a co-founder of Magnum Photos and was known for his innovative approach to photography. He was awarded the Grand Prix National des Arts in 1987 and was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine in 2000. Cartier-Bresson passed away in 2004 at the age of 95.
