Henri IV was the King of France from 1589 to 1610. He was a member of the House of Bourbon and is best known for his role in the Edict of Nantes, which granted tolerance to French Protestants. Henri IV was also a skilled military leader and expanded French territory through his conquests. He is remembered as one of the most important figures in French history.
