Henry Picot was a French diplomat and politician who served as the French Ambassador to Persia from 1885 to 1892. He was a key figure in the negotiations that led to the signing of the Sykes-Picot agreement. Picot was also a strong advocate for French interests in the Middle East and played a significant role in the development of the region. He was known for his diplomatic skills and his ability to navigate complex international relationships. Picot was born in 1833 and died in 1914.
