Hillel Slovak was an American musician and guitarist. Born on July 23, 1962, in Los Angeles, California, Slovak was a founding member of the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. He was known for his unique guitar playing style and his contributions to the band's early success. Slovak struggled with heroin addiction throughout his life and tragically passed away on June 25, 1988, at the age of 25. He is still remembered and celebrated by fans of the band.
