Early Christian Bishop and Theologian
Hippolytus of Antioch was a bishop in the early Christian church, known for his writings on theology and church history. He is believed to have written 'Refutation of All Heresies', a comprehensive treatise on various heretical beliefs of the time. Hippolytus was likely born around 170 AD and died around 235 AD. Little is known about his life outside of his writings, but he is considered one of the most important figures in early Christian theology.
