Holly Black

Holly Black is a New York Times bestselling American author of young adult fantasy novels. She was born in New York City and grew up in Pennsylvania. Black is best known for her modern fairy tale series, including The Cruel Prince and The Wicked King. She has won several awards for her writing, including the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Young Adult Fantasy. Black is also a professor at the New School in New York City.
