Marine conservationist and indigenous rights advocate
Hozoji Matheson-Margullis is a Native American marine conservationist and indigenous rights advocate. She is a member of the Tlingit Nation and has worked tirelessly to protect the marine environment and promote indigenous rights. Matheson-Margullis has received several awards for her work, including the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) highest honor. She is based in Alaska.
