Hsiu-Chen Hsieh

Historian and cultural critic

Hsiu-Chen Hsieh is a Taiwanese historian and cultural critic who has written extensively on the history of Taiwan's indigenous peoples and the impact of colonialism on Taiwanese society. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley and has published several books on Taiwanese history and culture. Hsieh is currently a professor at the National Taiwan University.
