Ian Argyll, 11th Duke of Argyll, was a British peer and politician. Born on February 11, 1929, in London, England, Ian was educated at Eton College and later attended the University of Oxford. He served in the British Army and later became a member of the House of Lords. Ian was married to Margaret Argyll and was known for his conservative views and his role in the British aristocracy. He was also involved in various charitable causes and was a patron of the arts.
