IOC officials

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is the governing body of the Olympic Games. The IOC is responsible for setting the rules and regulations for the Games, as well as overseeing the selection of host cities and the conduct of the competitions. The IOC is composed of members from around the world, who are elected by the IOC Session. The IOC has been the subject of controversy and criticism over the years, particularly with regards to its handling of doping scandals and its relationship with national Olympic committees.
