About Jack

Jack 'Goose' Givens was an American college basketball coach who coached at the University of Kentucky from 1976 to 1989. He led the Wildcats to a national championship in 1978, and was known for his unorthodox coaching style and his ability to motivate his players. Givens was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.
