Former NFL player and politician
Jack Kemp was an American football player, politician, and economist. He played in the NFL for 11 seasons, including eight with the Los Angeles Rams, and was a two-time Pro Bowl selection. Kemp went on to serve as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1971 to 1989 and as the Republican nominee for Vice President in 1980. He was a prominent advocate for supply-side economics and was a key figure in the development of the Kemp-Roth tax cut. Kemp was also a vocal critic of socialism and was a strong supporter of free market principles.
