Jacques Tourneur was a French-American film director, screenwriter, and cinematographer. He is best known for directing horror films such as Cat People (1942) and I Walked with a Zombie (1943), which are considered classics of the genre. Tourneur also directed several episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents and The Twilight Zone.
