Jakub Janega is a Czech professor of political science. He is a researcher and lecturer at the University of Olomouc, where he teaches courses on political science and governance. Janega has published numerous papers on topics such as electoral systems, party politics, and government formation. He is a member of the Czech Academy of Sciences and has received several awards for his research. Janega has a Ph.D. in political science from Charles University in Prague.
