James Dillon

James Dillon was a coroner in Co. Offaly who was tasked with investigating two suspicious deaths in December 1846. Little is known about Dillon's life beyond his role as coroner, but it is clear that he played an important part in the investigation of these deaths. Dillon's work during this time period provides valuable insight into the social and economic conditions of Ireland during the Great Famine.
