Former LDS Apostle and historian
James E. Talmage was a prominent figure in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and served as the church's General Authority from 1901 to 1928. Talmage was a prolific writer and historian, and his works include the book "The Articles of Faith". He was known for his scholarly approach to Mormon doctrine and his efforts to promote understanding and tolerance within the church. Talmage passed away in 1933.
