James M. Cain

James M. Cain is an American historian and author. He is best known for his work on the history of Japanese Americans during World War II. Cain has written several books on the subject, including The Home Front in Wartime: The United States, 1941-1945 and Japanese Americans: A Documentary History. He has also taught at several universities, including the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Cain has been recognized for his contributions to the field of Japanese American studies and has received several awards for his work.
