James Tolkan was an American actor. He appeared in numerous films and television shows, including the 'Back to the Future' trilogy, where he played the role of Mr. Strickland. Tolkan also had a recurring role in the TV series 'Volver al futuro' (also known as 'Quantum Leap'). He passed away in 2021 at the age of 89.
