Norwegian commando
Jan Baalsrud was a Norwegian commando who served in the Norwegian Resistance during World War II. He was the only surviving member of the commando unit that was sent to Norway to assassinate a high-ranking German officer. Baalsrud was known for his bravery and cunning, and his story has been the subject of several books and films. He died in 1990 at the age of 83.
