Jan Boháček was a Czech writer, poet, and diplomat. He is best known for his role in the Hussite movement and his literary works. Boháček was born in 1410 in Prague, Bohemia. He studied at the University of Prague and later became a diplomat for the Kingdom of Bohemia. He was a key figure in the Hussite movement, which sought to reform the Catholic Church. Boháček was also a prolific writer and poet, and his works include novels, poetry, and essays. He died in 1471 in Prague, Bohemia.
