Ján Fica is a Slovak politician serving as the Prime Minister of Slovakia since 2020. He is a member of the Direction – Social Democracy party and has been a member of the Slovak Parliament since 2006. Fica has been known for his progressive policies and his efforts to strengthen the European Union. He has also been a vocal critic of Russian aggression in Ukraine.
