Jan Tomasik

Jan Tomasik is a Polish veteran and former soldier. He served in the 1st Panzer Division during the 1970s. Tomasik is known for his initiative in creating the Wielka Polska Mapa Szkocji project, a large-scale map of Scotland created in the 1970s. The project was a gesture of gratitude to the Scots who helped him find a new home abroad. Tomasik is also a director of the Fundacja Mapa, an organization that now cares for the map.
