Jane Shore was a 14th-century Englishwoman who was a mistress to King Edward III of England. She was known for her beauty and her influence on the king. Shore was a member of the nobility and was well-educated. She was also known for her piety and her charitable works. Despite her association with the king, Shore left an attractive reputation and was remembered as a virtuous woman. She died in 1394.
