Former FDA Commissioner
Janet B. Woodcock is a physician and former Commissioner of the United States Food and Drug Administration. She served as Commissioner from 2002 to 2006 and was the first woman to hold the position. Woodcock is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and Harvard College. She has also served as a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and has written extensively on topics related to healthcare and public health.
