Jaromír Zůna

Jaromír Zůna is a Czech politician serving as the current Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic. He was born on March 5, 1958, in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Zůna graduated from the Military Academy in Prague and later served in the Czechoslovak Army. He has been a member of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) since 1990 and has held various positions in the party, including chairman of the party's defence committee. Zůna has been a member of the Czech Parliament since 2006 and has served as the Minister of Defence since 2017.
