Jeanne d'Arc, also known as Joan of Arc, was a French heroine and military leader who led the French army to several victories during the Hundred Years' War. She was born in 1412 in Domremy, France, and was known for her bravery and faith. D'Arc was captured by the English and put on trial, where she was eventually burned at the stake. Despite her tragic end, d'Arc's legacy has endured, and she remains one of the most famous women in French history.
