Jerry Siegel

Jerry Siegel was an American comic book writer and creator, best known for co-creating the character of Superman with Joe Shuster. Siegel was born in 1914 and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He began writing comics at a young age and went on to work for several publishers, including National Allied Publications. Siegel's work on Superman helped to establish the character as a cultural icon, and he is still widely recognized today as one of the most influential comic book creators of all time.
