Jhumpa Lahiri

Jhumpa Lahiri is an American author of Indian descent, known for her short stories and novels that explore the experiences of immigrants and their families. Born in London and raised in Rhode Island, Lahiri has won numerous awards for her work, including the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. She is also a translator and has worked on several projects, including the translation of Indian literature into English.
