Jiddu Krishnamurti

Jiddu Krishnamurti was an Indian philosopher and spiritual teacher who founded the movement known as the Teaching of Self-Realization. He was born in Madanapalle, India in 1895 and died in Ojai, California in 1986. Krishnamurti's teachings emphasized the importance of individual freedom, self-awareness, and the rejection of authority. He was a prolific writer and speaker, and his ideas have influenced many spiritual and philosophical movements around the world.
