Jihadi John, whose real name is John Georgelas, is a former ISIS recruiter and militant. He was born in 1987 in the United Kingdom and became radicalized at a young age. He was known for his appearances in ISIS propaganda videos and was considered one of the group's most prominent recruiters. He was killed in a drone strike in 2015.
