Jim Elliot

Jim Elliot was an American missionary who was martyred in Ecuador in 1956 while working with the Auca people. He is best known for his book, Shadow of the Almighty, which tells the story of his life and ministry. Elliot was a graduate of Wheaton College and was ordained as a missionary by the International Mission Board. He is remembered for his courage, compassion, and commitment to sharing the Gospel with the people of Ecuador.
