Jim Harman is a notorious whiskey counterfeiter who was exposed for producing and selling at least 50 bottles of counterfeit 'vintage' whiskeys in Maryland. Harman's scheme involved refilling old bottles with modern spirits and passing them off as authentic vintage whiskeys. He was arrested and charged with multiple counts of counterfeiting and theft. Harman's case has raised awareness about the dangers of whiskey counterfeiting and the importance of authenticity in the spirits industry.
