Joaquín Montero

Joaquín Montero was a Spanish architect known for his work in modernist architecture. He was born in 1924 in Madrid, Spain and died in 2018. Montero's work often explored the relationship between architecture and sculpture. He was a prominent figure in the Spanish art scene and had numerous exhibitions and awards throughout his career. Montero was also a pioneer in the use of stainless steel in architecture. He was awarded the National Prize for Architecture in 2005.
