Joe Orton

Joe Orton was a British playwright and poet. He was born in 1933 and died in 1967. Orton is best known for his plays 'Loot' and 'What the Butler Saw', which were both adapted into films. He was also a prominent figure in the British theatre scene and was known for his witty and irreverent style.
