About John

John Anglin was a former inmate at Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary. He is best known for his role in the infamous 1962 escape from the prison. Anglin was a skilled swimmer and helped plan and execute the escape. He was never recaptured and his fate remains a mystery. Anglin was born in 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri, and his current whereabouts are unknown.
