John B. Calhoun

John B. Calhoun was an American biologist and psychologist who made significant contributions to the field of social psychology. He is best known for his work on the 'scarcity principle' and the 'resource competition' theory. Calhoun was a professor at Dartmouth College and wrote several books on psychology and sociology. He is considered one of the most influential psychologists of the 20th century.
