Psychiatrist and researcher on paranormal phenomena
John E. Mack was an American psychiatrist and researcher who studied paranormal phenomena, including UFOs and near-death experiences. He was a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and wrote several books on the subject. Mack was also a pioneer in the field of near-death studies and was a strong advocate for the study of paranormal phenomena. He was a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a member of the International Association for Near-Death Studies. Mack passed away in 2008, but his work continues to be widely read and studied today.
