Mathematician and economist
John Forbes Nash Jr. was an American mathematician, economist, and professor. He is best known for his work on game theory and his struggles with schizophrenia. Nash was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 1994. He is also known for his book "A Beautiful Mind", which was adapted into a film in 2001. Nash was a professor at Princeton University and was a prominent figure in the field of economics. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia in the 1950s and struggled with the condition for the rest of his life.
