Professor of Astronomy at The Ohio State University
John G. Hartnett is a professor of astronomy at The Ohio State University. He received his PhD in astronomy from Harvard University and has published numerous papers on the subject of exoplanetary science. Hartnett is also a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He has taught courses on astronomy and astrophysics at Ohio State University for over 20 years. Hartnett is known for his work on the detection of exoplanets and his research on the formation of planetary systems. He has also served as the director of the Ohio State University's Center for Cosmology and Particle Physics.
