British military officer
John Graham was a British military officer who served in the Cape Colony during the early 19th century. He was appointed as the Lieutenant Colonel of the Cape Corps and led military campaigns against the Xhosa people. Graham was born in 1770 in Scotland and served in the British Army before being appointed to the Cape Colony. He was known for his bravery and military tactics. Graham died in 1824.
