John H. Lott Jr.

John H. Lott Jr. is an American economist and gun rights advocate. He is the founder of the Center for the Study of Economic Growth and Policy Analysis and has written extensively on topics such as gun control and economic policy. Lott has been a vocal advocate for gun rights and has testified before Congress on the issue. He is also a frequent commentator on economic issues and has appeared on various media outlets, including Fox News and NPR. Lott has received numerous awards for his work, including the National Rifle Association's (NRA) Oliver North Award for Journalism Excellence. He is a graduate of Harvard University and has a Ph.D. in economics from New York University.
