John Ioannidis

John Ioannidis is a professor of medicine and of health research and policy at Stanford University School of Medicine, and a professor of statistics at Stanford University School of Humanities and Sciences. He is one of the most influential scientists alive today, with a career spanning over three decades. Dr. Ioannidis has authored over 1,000 peer-reviewed articles and has made significant contributions to the fields of epidemiology, biostatistics, and clinical trials. He is known for his work on the limitations of meta-analysis and the importance of transparency in research. Dr. Ioannidis has received numerous awards for his work, including the National Academy of Medicine's Public Welfare Medal. He is based in the United States.
