John Krakauer is an American author, professor, and researcher. He is best known for his books on neuroscience and psychology, including 'The Keepers of the Cam', 'Imitation of the Spider', and 'Three Cups of Deceit'. Krakauer has also written for several publications, including The New Yorker and The New York Times. He is currently a professor of neurology and neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University and has directed the Center for the Study of Motor Learning and Brain Repair since 2011.
